The Repairer tab forms the basis of the repairer profile and holds the relevant documents to support the Carbon Goals:
1. Repairer
The 'Repairer' option holds your contact information together with your Documentation and Assessment information. If entering the site for the first time, use the 'Add' button to complete your profile. When completing your repairer details you are required to upload your Declaration of Commitment, so ensure this is completed prior to completing your details. Once saved, you can use the 'Edit' button at any time, to keep your profile up to date.
2. Access
The Repairer controls who has access to their data and you should use the 'Access' facility to provide access to registered ARIES Users. In granting 'Access' to a user, they will automatically have visibility of the Repairer Details and Assessments.
2.1 Contact Type - ARIES provides the repairer with the facility to add 3 types of internal contacts to assist with the management of the Carbon Reduction Management Plan.
2.2 Representative - The Representative User Type has been added to enable the repairer to appoint another party to assist with collating the Carbon Emissions Data.
2.3 Auditor - The Audit role is used to appoint your independent auditor. Aries can help you select an Auditor upon request.
2.4 Administrator - Is an internal role reserved for Governance Access and should only be used for technical access by an ARIES Team Member.
2.5 Access Type - Enables the repairer to control the activities a user can undertake. Read-Only should be granted to insurers and suppliers who may be required to view your information. The right to Edit a profile should be restricted to your management and staff only. Representative access gives the user the ability to Edit and Manage your Assessments but is unable to Edit any of Profile or appoint Repairers or Users. Auditor access is assigned to your nominated auditor, and will only have access to view, validate and approve your Carbon Management Reduction Plan.
2.6 Data Access Approved - This check box is used to indicate you are granting access to the User to view your profile and that you understand the user will have visibility of the repairers data.
3. Assessments
The Assessment tab is used to store the Executive Summary of your Carbon Reduction Management Plan. Each year you will be required to complete and/or update your Carbon Reduction Management Plan.
On completion of the management plan you or your representative will be asked to upload a PDF copy of the Plan and your Declaration of Achievement.
